It is called Deep Time and it is the Fifth collection of High Jewelry signed Louis Vuitton , designed by Francesca Amfitheatrof, Artistic Director Jewelry and Watches.

This is a collection from the design originale , which recounts an ideal and absolute journey, starting from the origins of history, in which the earth’s crust makes its way through jewels and precious stones.

The collection is the largest the Maison has ever created and features 170 unique pieces , including 95 in the first chapter alone;also record-breaking is the number of gemstones used.

“ At Louis Vuitton we have always loved adventure, grappling with journeys to extraordinary, unexpected places,” states the Amphitheatrof . “Deep Time will lead into the farthest past, to a time and place so remote that it is difficult even to comprehend. Yet the stones, treasures that are formed by changing over many millennia, will lead us right there, to the dawn of the planet and world history, to our symbolic geological heritage.”

Deep Time is divided into two:geology and life and comprises 16 topics in which extraordinary jewels follow one another speaking a unique language charged with power and engaging capabilities. The jewelry is versatile and designed to be used in different ways , revealing juxtapositions, textures, layers and stones, all to be discovered.
