To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the famous jeans 501® firmato Levi’s , the brand presents a new plant-based model , featuring innovative design and cutting-edge technologies that make it a sustainable, plant-based product .

Il nuovo jeans 501® plant-based è Made from 97% plant-based materials, organic cotton, natural dyes and ink made from wood waste . So here, Levi’s is also choosing the path of sustainability by increasing the production of garments born from renewable resources.

“By making 501® jeans for 150 years, we have the opportunity and responsibility as a company to continually question the process of making these jeans.”, states Paul Dillinger, VP Design Innovation di Levi Strauss &Co. “These jeans are the result of our past research toward circularity and, at the same time, represent the starting point for future innovations.”

The brand also launches a 501® selvedge denim in a hemp-cotton blend , designed for both men and women and a 501® circular made from a blend of Circulose® organic cotton fibers, viscose from recycled denim and other textile waste.
