The fashion show that presented the new collection by AMI Paris took place at the Tennis Club de Paris , famous for its distinctive architecture and a favorite venue for fashion shows during the 1990s.

The deliberately minimal set reflects the spirit of the fashion show and the soul of the Spring-Summer 2024 collection. Inspired by the minimalism of the 1990s, the new Ami Paris collection shows garments with well-defined shoulders and flowing shapes.

Pastel and natural shades typical of summer predominate, contrasted with brighter hues. Fine fabrics emphasize the lightness of the collection that shows outlined silhouettes capable of following bodies and movements. There is no shortage of bags and accessories to complete the look.

“The minimalism of the 1990s is one of the most influential and fascinating movements in fashion and one of my favorites. AMI has worked since its creation to define and complete an articulate, comprehensive and pragmatic wardrobe. Of course, this is an evolving concept, connecting with reality. AMI is rooted in the real world, our clothes are made to be worn and appreciated, to be mixed and matched, our collections are designed for living. Following in the footsteps of what we did for the last winter collection, I want to simplify the superfluous, so I can focus exclusively on the essential-and specifically on the collection, the wardrobe. Everything else is a distraction. Our fashion show at the Tennis Club de Paris, in such a minimal, industrial location, is a symbolic way to celebrate this spirit of simplicity and restraint and elegance.” Alexandre Mattiussi, Founder and Creative Director, AMI.
